# Shift feedback

> After each shift, team members get a quick question in the Levelset app: how did this shift go?

**Shift feedback** is a one-question check-in the Levelset app, the phone app your team signs in to, asks each team member after they work a shift: **How did this shift go?** It gives every team member, not only leaders, an easy way to say how a shift went while it's fresh.

It runs on its own in an organization that uses Levelset's scheduling, for shifts on a published schedule, including weeks published by a confirmed HotSchedules import. There is nothing to set up.

## Answer shift feedback

Ten minutes after a shift ends, the team member who worked it gets a **Give shift feedback** task on **Home** in the Levelset app, marked **Shift feedback**, with the shift's date and times. A shift split into separate parts gets one task per part.

1. Tap the task.
2. Under **How did this shift go?**, pick a rating from 1 to 5. The rating is required.
3. Add **Notes** if there is anything worth passing on.
4. Tap **Send feedback**.

The task stays on **Home** until the end of the store day, which runs until 4 a.m. the next morning, store time, and then goes away whether it was answered or not.

## Common questions

> **Nobody gets shift feedback tasks.**
>
> The week isn't published. A store that schedules in HotSchedules publishes a week by confirming its import; see [Import the week from HotSchedules](https://docs.levelset.io/schedule/overview.md#import-the-week-from-hotschedules).
