# Getting started with the app: team members

> Sign in to the Levelset app, set your clock-in PIN, and use it on and off shift: your schedule, your tasks, shift feedback, goals and your profile

The **Levelset app** is your store's app on your phone. It shows your schedule, the tasks your store gives you, such as a checklist, and how you're doing. This guide is for team members. What you see depends on your role and on what your store has set up; if something below is missing, ask a leader at your store.

## Get the app

* **iPhone or iPad:** get Levelset from the App Store. The invite email links to it.
* **Android:** Levelset isn't on Google Play yet. In your phone's browser, open [app.levelset.io/download/android](https://app.levelset.io/download/android) and sign in to the Levelset dashboard there, with Google or with your password. Then tap **Download** and follow **How to install** on the page. Anyone with a Levelset login can open it.

## Sign in the first time

You'll get an email inviting you to the Levelset app once a leader at your store turns it on for you. Get the app as above. If you already sign in to the dashboard, no email comes: install the app and start at step 1. Then:

1. Open the app and tap **New here**.
2. Under **What's your email?**, enter the email address you were invited with and tap **Send me a link**.
3. Open the link from **Check your email** on the same phone.
4. Under **How do you want to sign in next time?**, choose **Continue with Google** or **Create a password** (at least 8 characters). You can add Face ID right after.

Next time, tap **Sign in**. No email? Under **Check your email**, wait a minute and tap **Didn't get it? Resend**, and check the address with a leader. If the app says **Your account isn't set up for the app yet.**, ask a leader to check that the app is on for you, then tap **Try Again**.

## Set your clock-in PIN

The app asks you to **Set your clock-in PIN**: the 5 or 6 digit PIN you use to clock in on the Chick-fil-A POS. It signs you in on your store's iPad, if your store has one in **Kiosk Mode**, the Levelset app running on a store iPad shared by the whole store, where each person signs in with their clock-in PIN. **Skip for now** asks again next time you open the app.

## Your tasks

**Home** lists **Your tasks**. Tap one to do it:

* **Checklist**: a list of things to do, such as the closing checklist. Tick each item as you finish it.
* **Shift feedback**: after each shift, **Give shift feedback** asks **How did this shift go?** Pick 1 to 5, add **Notes** if there's anything worth passing on, and tap **Send feedback**. See [Shift feedback](https://docs.levelset.io/forms/shift-feedback.md).

## Your schedule

Open **Me**, then **My Schedule**, for your shifts this week and next. Your schedule comes from HotSchedules: a leader imports each week, so a week shows here once it's imported. Until this week is imported, **My Schedule** shows **This week** with every day marked **Off**, and the Today card on **Home** says **This week's schedule hasn't come through yet**. To ask for time off, ask in HotSchedules or ask a leader; the app doesn't take time off requests.

## Goals and your profile

* **Goals** shows your store's goals for the day. Tap **+1** to count something toward a goal your role can tally. See [Goals](https://docs.levelset.io/goals/overview.md).
* **Me** is your profile: your ratings on each position and your schedule.
* **Search** finds people, documents and forms your role can see, such as the handbook.
