Levi settings shows how Levi, the assistant built into Levelset, is set up in your organization: which roles can use it, where people can ask it, and the places it answers from. It is a read-out. Nothing on this page changes Levi; most lines point to where that thing is managed. To ask Levi something, see Ask Levi. Open Levi > Levi settings in the sidebar. The page has up to three sections, Who can use Levi, Where it works and What it reads, and you see the ones your role allows. Who can do what names the permission behind each.

See who can use Levi

Say a Team Lead (use your own role names) tells you they can’t find Levi. Who can use Levi lists your organization’s roles whose permission level includes Levi > Use Levi, the permission that lets someone ask Levi on the dashboard and in Slack. A permission level is the set of things everyone in a role can do. If Team Lead isn’t listed, nobody in that role on the role’s own level can use Levi. “No role’s default level includes it yet.” means no role has it. Some people are on a level of their own instead of their role’s, such as a custom level (a permission level made for particular people), so what they can do can differ from their role’s line. When anyone is, the section says so and names Team & Access > Access, where each person’s level shows. Click Manage roles in Team & Access to open the Roles tab, where a role’s permissions are changed. How to add a permission to a role is on Roles.

Check where people can ask Levi

Where it works lists the two places. The dashboard is the Ask Levi bar along the bottom of most pages. Slack is your organization’s Slack workspace, once it is connected; if the Team Lead would rather ask there, see Ask Levi in Slack. If your role can open Organization > Set up > Integrations, the Slack line also shows Connected to and the workspace’s name, or Not connected, and clicking Slack opens Integrations, where Slack is connected. See what Levi answers from

What it reads lists the places your team keeps the information Levi answers from. Levi answers from what is there, so when an answer is out of date, fix it at the source: if Levi gives the wrong closing time, the store hours need changing, not Levi. Click a place to open it. A place is listed only if your role can open its page and your organization has that part of Levelset, so your list can be shorter than someone else’s.

Who can do what

The page itself opens for anyone whose role holds Levi > Use Levi or Roles > View Roles, in an organization whose plan includes Levi. If you’re missing something here, ask whoever manages roles in your organization to turn it on. See Roles.

Common questions

They are probably on a level of their own that doesn’t include Levi > Use Levi. Their level shows on the Access tab of People > Team & Access; ask whoever manages roles in your organization to change it.
Your organization hasn’t connected Slack, or it was disconnected. Whoever manages integrations connects it; see Set up Slack.
The notice “Levi AI is not part of your plan” means your organization’s plan doesn’t include Levi. See Ask Levi.
